The first question is who places the seller order

A product link identifies an item, but it does not decide who buys it. When an agent purchases for you, the agent handles the seller-facing purchase within the service you selected. With forwarding, you have already arranged, or will arrange, the purchase yourself and need a receiving and delivery service.

Write down the task you cannot complete independently. If it is seller payment, a local purchasing account or communication about an option, forwarding alone may leave that task unresolved. If the seller order is already paid and only needs an overseas delivery route, placing a second purchase request could create an unwanted duplicate.

Service labels are not a substitute for an agreed scope. Ask which party will handle the seller order, warehouse receipt and international shipment. The answer should explain the handover between those tasks rather than simply promise that everything is included.

Already paid the seller? Keep the receiving details together

Before arranging a forwarding parcel, obtain the receiving instructions for the warehouse you actually intend to use. Check any account or parcel-identification requirement and provide the domestic tracking reference when requested. A warehouse address copied from an old message may not identify your account or the expected parcel correctly.

  • Seller order reference and the exact items being sent.
  • The warehouse’s current receiving address and required identifier.
  • Domestic carrier and tracking number once available.
  • Any required advance declaration or acceptance confirmation.
  • Who you will contact if the seller sends several parcels.

Keep those records with the original purchase confirmation. For example, if one seller order arrives in two parcels, record both references against that order. This gives the receiving service a concrete way to investigate an unmatched arrival.

Who can help if the seller sends the wrong option?

With an agent purchase, start with the purchase record and the agent’s after-sales process. For a purchase you made directly, the seller account and payment record remain important: ask what help the forwarding service actually offers rather than assuming it controls that seller transaction.

Before ordering, agree who will request a return label, communicate with the seller and pay any domestic return costs if needed. Check whether the item can be opened or photographed and what inspection is included. Acceptance into storage does not itself answer those questions.

Compare the complete arrangement before choosing

List the product payment, domestic delivery, purchasing or receiving service, requested extras and overseas shipping separately. Request the charge and responsible party for each relevant line. Two services can describe their fees differently, so an apparently cheaper headline may not cover the same work.

Also check whether the item is accepted and whether a route exists for your destination. Receiving a parcel and being able to export its contents are different decisions. Finish with a simple record of who buys, who receives and who ships; that record is more useful than the service label alone.
